Biology Entrepreneur:Craig Venter

Craig Venter, founder of The Institute for Genomic Research. Him and his team, were the 1st to decode the genome of a free- living organism. In the year 2001 Craig Venter found the Human genome. Craig Venter Institute announced that they had manufactured the entire genome of a bacterium by putting together its chemical components. The Institute for Genomic Research is looking for biological energy production and synthetic life.

I think that Craig Venter is doing extremely well, He gave the other scientists a whole new step to take it from. He accomplished many things in his life for himself as well as for others. Craig Venter went to Mills High School. He wasn't getting the straight A's you would expect for him to get and went through many hardships in his life. He is striving to find more mysteries in biology.

I think Craig Venter and his company will solve more mysteries, that other scientists couldn't find, and hopefully find cures for diseases, that we don't know the cause of. I hope he can make another great break through in things we didn't know before, and continue to help fellow scientists around him.
